This new piece was created to welcome the Year of the Horse.
Horses are usually depicted in motion, galloping with strength and speed. I chose instead a quieter, more intimate interpretation. Here, the Orange Rabbit finds a Buddha’s Hand citron, and a small blue horse approaches, drawn by its fragrance. Lowering its head, it gently inhales the citrus scent.
It is a moment of stillness — a tender encounter rather than a display of power.
Inspired by the horse I have patted in the past few years.
