Joyce Tang is an artist, jewellery designer, and fairy tale writer, born in Shanghai and based in Milan, Italy.
She graduated from Tongji University College of Design and Innovation and Politecnico di Milano.
Her representative works include the 3D-printed fantastic jewellery including Sea Dragonfruit and Balcony Dream brooches in collaboration with Shanghai Hengfu Cultural Zone, extending narrative forms into wearable sculpture.
Her fairy tale "Downstream: The Fantastic Journey of the Orange Rabbit" won the 2025 Hans Christian Andersen Fairy Tale Award.
Through contemporary painting and sculptural jewellery, Joyce Tang constructs a symbolic fairy-tale universe. Drawing from Taoist philosophy and Jungian psychology, her work explores inner transformation, integration of the self, and harmony with the natural way.
