New and old wounds, personal and collective ones — I want to try to fill them with color and love. Just as everyone carries an inner shadow, pain is a shared human experience. Rather than bury our wounds, we can face them and mend them. One day, they will heal naturally.

Creating this series was a transformative experience.
For the first time, I broke the two-dimensional surface and introduced the element of time — destruction, and then repair.
For me, the process of making was itself a form of healing. I had to face the wounds I had buried, say goodbye to past pain, and begin again.
This work is a record of that journey:
different forms of wounds, and different ways of healing.
